Overall Site Plan Phase 2
Phase One - JROTC Relocation is a Uniform Storage Area
consisting of 4,125 Square Feet
JROTC elected to relocate from South Metro Center to an
existing automotive area which consists of 4125 Square Feet at
the old Westlake High School. In order to prepare for the
relocation, the existing automotive area will need to be
cleaned, painted, concrete floor sealed and double doors added.
Re-keying of the area is necessitated by Army JROTC regulations.
Phase Two - Flat Shoals Renovation for South Crossroads -
Program Management was requested to make recommendations on
the renovation of the rear portion of the Flat Shoals Center for
Crossroads/Second Chance programs. The rear area of Flat Shoals
Center was originally designed for larger technical shops with
rough finishes. It is currently used for JROTC and building
storage. It will require significant up grades as noted: 13-
small classrooms will be provided, which will be occupied by 12
to 15 students per classroom, a shared cafeteria, shared
gymnasium, media center, computer lab, administration space, new
flooring, suspended ceilings with classroom lighting and
centralized HVAC. The site will also be modified to provide 18-
additional parking spaces and a covered walk path from the
existing bus drop-off area in the front of the building to the
proposed rear administrative entrance.

Phase Three - -Westlake JROTC / Renovation Office Area which consists of 1203
Square Feet

lab which consists of 1203 Square Feet at the old Westlake High School. In order
to prepare for the relocation, the existing transportation lab will need to be
cleaned, painted, concrete floor sealed and double doors added. Re-keying of the
area is necessitated by Army JROTC regulations.
