Georgia Career Information System (GCIS)

GCIS provides current and accurate occupational and educational information to schools and agencies throughout GA to help students and parents make informed career choices.  Students may access GCIS in the career center, media center or the comfort of their home.  All students need a username and password. Please see Graduation Coach, Media Specialist or Counselor to obtain the school’s username and password.

· My Future.Com  - This site provides information on career opportunities, military options, and personal finance for individuals not planning to attend college.               

· Youth Enrichment Services (YES) program   -  This Fulton County workforce preparation and employment system provides employment and job training services to assist citizens in meeting vocational and career goals.  Contact LaPortia Sims to set up an appointment.

· Occupational Outlook Handbook  -  A source of career information providing valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their professional futures.

· Georgia Department of Labor  -  The mission of the Georgia Department of Labor is to advance work force development and economic growth through employment, unemployment workforce safety and training services.
