Art Educator Connected Academy
Kacey Ciprari-Murphy is Connected Academy’s Art teacher. Kacey has been an art educator in Fulton County for over twenty years. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art Education from the University of Georgia and is a certified Advanced Placement educator. Her enthusiasm for education and art has only increased with her years of experience. Ms. Ciprari-Murphy is currently the Art Curriculum Support Teacher for all Elementary art teachers in North Fulton County. She assists Art teachers with classroom management, discipline and curriculum implementation. She is also a member of the Curriculum Advisory Council for Fulton County Board of Education. She pioneered the “Cross Curricular Approach to Discipline Based Art Education” in Fulton County and has lectured at the Georgia Art Educators Association conference. She has presented to Fulton County Art teachers on the topics of “Art Grading” and “Spiraling Curriculum in the Arts”. Ms. Ciprari-Murphy has received grants from the International Super Computer Conference, the Fulton County Arts Council, the Georgia Council for Arts, and the Fulton County Mini-Grant Foundation. She is herself a practicing artist in various media including ceramics, drawing, fiber, painting (including watercolor and acrylic), drawing, etc… The complete Fulton County Art curricula will be offered at Connected Academy per student interest.
