From the Counselor’s Desk
We are quickly approaching a new calendar year and with a
new year comes new deadlines. Our seniors calendars should be full of
anticipated plans for college and high school graduation.
Here are some things that should be on your calendar:
- Register
for the SAT or ACT
- Check
deadlines for scholarship information. ( Many are listed on the “information”
bulletin board on H hallway).
- Make
sure you are on track for graduation in the spring.
- Pass all
parts of the Georgia High School Graduation Test.
- Research
potential colleges and find out their admission requirements.
- Plan
college visits.
- Narrow
your list down to five schools.
- Check
application deadlines.
- Make
realistic choices.
