History

In 2004, the Fulton County Board of Education embarked upon an assessment of the academic needs of high school students. The consensus among stakeholders was:

	Students like the promise of an education that is more "real."
	There is a need for a small, personalized school.
	The Connected Academy concept transcends the situation of the student and is an ideal learning environment for a diverse student body.
