Summer and Other Opportunities Continuing Education at Kennesaw State University offers an exciting array of classes designed to give young students an opportunity to explore their creativity, challenge their minds and build new friendships. Our Summer University for Kids and Teens is the smart place to be this summer. Weekly classes will begin June 2nd and run through July 25th. Pirates' Camp: Ahoy, mates! Ever wish you could become a pirate? Join our crew and learn the basic skills for a pirate's life learning their vocabulary and their customs. Come join the fun-filled voyage of artistic creations and learning! Summer U Musical: Become a star! Learn songs and dances from the hit movie "High School Musical" and "High School Musical 2" as well as other musical theatre songs. Spend the week singing and dancing with a special performance at the end of the week. Classic Board Games: Learn tactics and how to strategize, work independently and in a team, to play favorite classic board games. Use your critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on games and activities. Wizarding 101- A Guide to Muggles: Bringing back the magic, Harry Potter style! Venture into a world of wizards where magical creatures and the enchanting tale of friendship and love give way to new beginnings. Join in crazy activities and creative games while we read the very first and only Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

The Computer Science and Information Systems department of Kennesaw State University will be holding information sessions immediately following the admissions office "Insight sessions" each Friday during the month of April from 10:30am-1:00pm for any student interested in the technology field. The information session will include information about degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems and Information Security and Assurance. This summer the Organization of Black Airline Pilots (OBAP) will hold 2 Aviation Career Education Camps sponsored by Delta Airlines.
The purpose of each week long program is to introduce interested youth to the world of aviation by exposing them to the many challenging careers and opportunities which the aviation industry has to offer.
Admission is offered to boys and girls from 14 to 18 years old who are interested in learning about aviation. Applicants are competitively ranked based on age, cumulative GPA and essay. Camp dates are: July 14-18, 2008 July 21-25, 2008 This camp is free.
