Banneker Art Walk
Thursday,
October 5th the Art Club from Banneker High School
went into downtown Atlanta to participate in the Turner 1st
Thursday Art Walk. The Art Club went to several galleries
including: Paige Harvey Art, The Rialto Center for the
Performing Arts, Arts for All Gallery/VSA arts of Georgia, and
Georgia State University School of Art and Design Galleries.
The art being shown in the galleries varied from photography,
collages, printmaking to wall installations and painting. The
next after school art walk will be Thursday, November 2nd
and is open to all students and their parents. Please come and
stroll with us through magnificent buildings and streets to
enjoy the beauty of our city and the art created by our
neighbors.
