MARCHING/CONCERT BAND

CONGRATULATIONS
goes out to the Banneker Concert Band. The Banneker
Concert Band preformed March 19th at the GMEA District 5 Large
Group Performance Evaluation Festival. The concert band
received an overall superior rating which is the highest rating
that a band can receive. The members of the band and band
directors have been working extremely hard and deserve the
recognition as a superior band. The band members, band
directors, and all who support the band should be very proud of
their accomplishments.
The Banneker Concert
Band has been selected to perform at the American Musical Salute
to the veterans in Washington D.C. on April 22-25, 2005.
This is a great honor and recognition for the school, band, and
band director. The band needs all
the financial help they can get to help them get to Washington.

a band member for the trip or help in any other way.
