Banneker Students Attend
Camp Medicine at
St. George's University
True Blue Campus in Grenada!
Ms. Scretchen (Science
Dept.) has provided Banneker Students with the opportunity to
attend the High School Camp Medicine at St. George's University
True Blue Campus in Grenada. What a wonderful opportunity
for the students to have so much fun learning about cultures,
science and the medical field. We want to
congratulate Ms. Scretchen for doing
what it takes to make such a wonderful thing happen for the
students.
The camp is
filled with academic experiences geared towards the appropriate
level of student interspersed with fun and exciting activities
available on the beautiful island of Grenada. Activities include
whale watching, an evening cruise on a 50 foot catamaran
sailboat, and island tours of local communities, the rain
forest, waterfalls and coral reefs. Camp Medicine has both a
premedicine and a preveterinary component.
