Blues ability
as a football player is emphasized by the many quotes by coaches
and sports authorities. Mark Richt his own head coach at Georgia
has praised Greg often with statements such as:
“Greg Blue may
hit harder than Thomas Davis. Greg is a guy that if he does hit
you, you might not get up. Greg has learned to control the tempo
of that hit. He has made some of the finest open field tackles
that I can remember.”
Greg Blue is
expected to be drafted into the NFL sometime late on the first
day. FALCONS WE WANT BLUE!!
Mr.
Blue will
also be remembered at Georgia as a winner both on and off the field:
When Blue showed
up at Georgia in 2001, the truth is that there probably weren't
many people banking on him leaving school with a diploma. He
graduated last summer with a degree in child family development.
He has said several times this year that earning his degree is
his proudest achievement at the school.
Blue Quote:
"It was hard. But luckily, I was able to stay in school, stay
focused and had a dream I wasn't going to give up on. I kept all
that in front of me, and I am where I am right now -- a college
graduate."
There is a lot
more to the Blue story. You can read about him in the following
two articles: You will be amazed!
