scholarship for his second place finish in the High School Chili
Cook-Off sponsored by the
Le Cordon Bleu College
of Culinary Arts Atlanta. Congratulations Mr. Mitchell.
Maybe we will see Darrin's chili in the grocery store one day or
on the menu of a local restaurant.
Banneker Track Star!
The faculty, staff and administration of Banneker High School
would like to give a special shout out to senior
Brandon Lowe. Featured in the latest edition of RISE
Magazine as one of greater Atlanta's All-Area Track Athletes,
Brandon is ranked #4 in the nation in the 200M dash, and
is highly recruited by several division 1 schools, including
Clemson, NC@Chaper Hill, the
Univ. of Tennessee, Texas Christian Univ., Southern Univ., and
Alabama State Univ. Why the shout out you ask? Most
recently, Brandon has been invited by the Nike Corporation to
participate in the Nike National Scholastic Meet in NYC
beginning March 8, 2007. Good Luck Brandon and bring home
the GOLD!
Step Show held at Banneker High a huge
