Funding for curriculum
enhancing materials and programs is always a challenge. Our PTA Ways
& Means Committee organizes fundraisers to fill in the gap to
maximize each child's education and learning experience. Much of the
PTA fund raising is spent to support Georgia State curriculum
standards and purchases of support materials. These dollars add up
to a great education for our children!

 FRIENDS OF THE COUGAR |
“Friends of the Cougar" is the main PTA fundraiser for our school. Donations are tax deductible and support curriculum programs and various services such as: Accelerated Reader, Masters of the Arts, Reflections art program, Lunch Bunch, Read to Succeed, science lab materials, curriculum support materials, our playground expansion, interactive whiteboards for our classrooms, grounds maintenance and parent education.
Many companies will provide
matching funds to your donations. Check to see if your employer
participates in this program. |

PARTNERS IN EDUCATION |
CWES/PTA Partners in Education generously provide additional resources (human, in-kind or financial) for the promotion of student achievement. CWES/PTA Business Friends contribute various services and goods throughout the school year in support of our school.

PARTNERS' SCHOOL NIGHTS |
CWE
PTA hosts activities one time
per month at various restaurants. The restaurants are included in our
Partners in Education and a portion of sales for the evening are given
back to Cogburn Woods Elementary PTA.
