Dear CWE Parents,

As we move toward the end of another school year, we would like to thank everyone for their many hours spent in our children’s classrooms, working our various projects, leading committees, and donating your talents to our school.

Parental involvement is so important for our children and our school. We will sponsor our first CWE Dad’s Breakfast on April 25th and 28th. This event will bring fathers and their children together to meet other dads and discuss various family topics, spend time together, and learn from one another. Best of all, it is an opportunity to get Dads, Grandfathers, and other father figures to become involved in their children’s school and lives.

Another great opportunity to get involved in our school is to volunteer your time serving on the CWE PTA Executive Committee or to chair one of our many committees in an area that may interest you. If you would like to get involved, but not sure where your time could be best served, contact Margaret Clark, at mpmclark@bellsouth.net.

We will elect our officers for 2008/2009 Executive Committee at the General PTA Meeting May 13 at 6:35pm. The meeting will be held at Hopewell Middle School prior to the band and orchestra concert. Please make a point to be at this important meeting.

Lastly, we would like to pay a special thank you for those who have served so diligently this year on our Executive Committee and all our wonderful  Committee Chairs. This has been a great year for the CWE PTA and we appreciate the time you have spent serving your school this year. Thank you!
