My name is Sandy Austin. I graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology. My husband Jerry and I live here in Alpharetta and love this area very much. In our spare time we love to be outside working in our yard and going out to dinner. Cogburn Woods has been a great addition to the area and I truly love being part of such a great school.

My name is Kristie Fitzgerald and I grew up in Marietta and attended Cobb County schools. I just recently graduated from Auburn with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education-WAR EAGLE! I am so thrilled and fortunate to be teaching at Cogburn Woods. I know there is a great community support at this school and I couldn’t be anymore excited to work with everyone. Teaching is my passion and joy and when I am not doing that, I LOVE: Auburn football, vacations, playing any sports (tennis and softball), hanging out with my friends and family, cooking, and skiing anywhere. I look forward to working with the Cogburn family!

My name is Joy Fullilove. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to meet and work with you and your children at Cogburn Woods Elementary School. It's going to be a wonderful year! I graduated from Wingate University in North Carolina, in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I spent two years teaching at Hapeville elementary School in Fulton County. For the next few years I traveled with my husband as his engineering job moved us west to Colorado, and then south to Florida. I was excited to have the opportunity to come back home to Georgia three years ago and accept a position at Ocee Elementary School teaching third grade. I currently live in Cumming, Georgia, with my husband, Marvin, and our three dogs. My husband is a teacher in the math department at Milton High School. He coaches golf and the offensive line for the Milton Eagles football team. You'll find me cheering at the football games on Friday nights during the fall! My mother works at Summit Hill Elementary School.

My name is Kathy Gould. I love teaching third grade here at Cogburn Woods. I grew up in New York and Massachusetts and moved to Alpharetta in 1997. My two daughters are both students at the University of Georgia. I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston and a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. I have two cats, one dog, and two horses. I love to read, scrapbook, play tennis and go to the beach. I look forward to working with your children and having another great year at Cogburn Woods!

My name is Carol Morris. I grew up in Dunwoody, Georgia. I moved to southern California in my senior year of high school. I lived there for ten years then returned to Georgia in 1990. Prior to teaching, I worked in retail management for fourteen years. I have a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and a M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education. I have two daughters. In my spare time I love to bake and cook.

My name is Pam Mynatt, and I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. It is a pleasure to teach such bright and curious children at Cogburn Woods Elementary School each day. I have taught many years having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Alabama. Before moving to Alpharetta in 1996, I taught sixteen years in Knoxville, Tennessee, and lived two years in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to teaching at Cogburn Woods Elementary, I taught at Mountain Park Elementary and Crabapple Crossing Elementary. My experience teaching in grades one through five has proved invaluable over the years. My wonderful husband, Dwight, and I are raising two fantastic children, Laura and Grant. We have an adorable dachshund named Boomer who comes to school to visit me each year on my birthday. Outside of school, I absolutely love college football, playing tennis, jogging, walking, and going to the beach.

I am excited to be teaching third grade at Cogburn Woods Elementary! I am originally from South Carolina. In 2004, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from North Greenville University. I taught fourth grade in South Carolina for a year and a half. This summer, I moved to Atlanta after marrying my husband, Judd. Although raised a Clemson Tiger, we are both huge Auburn fans. In my spare time, I love to watch the Food Network and try out new recipes on my husband.

My name is Kim Sigsbee and I am so excited to be teaching at Cogburn Woods! I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I moved to Georgia in 2000 after graduating from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I taught both third and fourth grades at Shakerag Elementary before coming to Cogburn Woods when it opened in 2004.
I am married to a wonderful man named James and have an evil cat named Xena. In my spare time I love to travel, read, watch the Gators play football, and scuba dive. My name is Beverly Watola. I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I started my teaching career in Gwinnett County. I also worked as a substitute teacher in Cobb County and then in Fulton County. I am married and have three children. I also have a dog named Holly. I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family. I am thrilled to join the Cogburn Woods Elementary staff as a third grade teacher.
