I have had the pleasure of teaching at Cogburn Woods since it was first opened. I have also taught in other Fulton County schools and in North Carolina. I live in nearby Cherokee County with my husband Bill. We have five daughters and a grand- daughter! In my "spare" time I like to work in my yard, read, travel, and attend softball games. My daughter Logan plays on a 13U travel team and my daughter Lauren plays college ball at Georgia State. I breed and show standard longhaired dachshunds and our family also owns a retired racing greyhound who is the comedian at our house! I am a graduate of Elon College in North Carolina. I am looking forward to another great year here at Cogburn Woods.Bridgit Godfrey - Godfrey@fulton.k12.ga.us

Kimberly Schafer - SchaferK@fulton.k12.ga.us
I am a graduate of Florida State University and Kennesaw State University, and I love to teach! My marriage of twenty-three years has produced two awesome teenage sons, and, at present, two human cats (their words, not mine!) As a military dependent, I grew up all over the United States and traveled the world extensively, (but I am not done seeing new places!). My favorite place of abode was Hawaii. I spent my teenage years on the Island of Oahu in Ewa Beach. The "Spirit of Aloha" still sings in my heart. When I'm not teaching or grading papers, I am playing in my art studio and writing children's books. I love to read everything and a lot! My favorite sport is ice hockey because my boys played for fifteen years, (Go, Thrashers!), and I enjoy camping in the Appalachian Mountains. My favorite traveling experience has been China. I climbed the Great Wall! See you in the classroom! Aloha.
