Healthy Kids Program
                                        Edwards Congratulates Creekside-Westlake Cluster Schools
Principals from the Creekside-Westlake Cluster of Fulton County Schools receive a proclamation from Commission Vice Chairman William “Bill” Edwards (center) during the September 3, 2008 Board meeting. They and others were honored for combating childhood obesity through the “Healthy Kids, Smart Kids School/Sugar Free Zone.” The program, being implemented at the 17 schools this year, teaches 20,000 students and employees the importance of healthy eating habits, regular exercise and overall better health.
