Computer Art (com·put·er art): A creative expression acquired by experience, study, and observation utilizing digital graphics, digital tools, and digital photography. The Computer Arts is a course designed to acquaint students with the use of computers and digital media for the production of art. This course is geared toward developing artistic skills and computer skills to communicate ideas through print and multimedia presentations. Scanning, digital photography and a combination of computer and traditional art media will be emphasized. The majority of coursework will be designed and produced utilizing Adobe PhotoShop
