Dear Parents,

We recognize the closing of Kimball Bridge Road will impact our morning traffic considerably. Rest assure the school buses will continue to pick up our students as usual. I know many of you may consider driving your children to school, however, I would encourage you to have students take the bus to help alleviate the congestion we anticipate on North Point Pkwy from commuters. Knowing that the buses will take a much longer route to get to Kimball Bridge Road, I want to assure you that no student will be marked tardy during the day. In addition, we will not administer the ITBS test to third and fifth grade students until later in the morning. It is important to give students an opportunity to settle down and provide them with a window of time that will best support the testing environment .

Thank you so much for your support as we work through this unfortunate situation.

Charlia Faulkner
