At Love T. Nolan, we recognize and value each child as an individual of worth and provide opportunities to develop  in all areas.  In order to develop these gifts and talents, teachers use a variety of methods and strategies to encourage learning and academic and social growth. Since education is a continuous process, these methods and  strategies are visited on a regular basis to ensure that we reach all students on all levels and address needs according to differentiated learning styles. This will assure that all students have the best educational experience possible.

Coretta Stewart, Assistant Principal

Greetings Nolan Parents! My name is Coretta Stewart, and I am the new assistant principal.  I am the former assistant principal at College Park Elementary, Curriculum Support Teacher at Parklane Elementary and a classroom teacher at Seaborn Lee Elementary.  Originally, I am from Macon (Gray), GA and joined the Fulton County School system in 2001 after teaching in the Jones County School system. I have 14 years of experience in teaching and educating elementary students and look forward to meeting and working with the parents and students of Love T. Nolan ES.

 

As the assistant principal, one of my most important goals is to ensure that all students receive a quality education in a safe and orderly learning environment.  This includes evaluating classroom instruction and student learning, as well as, addressing student disciplinary issues and when necessary, imposing the most appropriate consequences as required by the Student Code of Conduct and Discipline Handbook.  Please know that I have an open door to parents and students, follow all school and board policies, and will always make decisions based on what’s in the best interest of students.

               Maureen Lilly, CST                       

I have served as a classroom teacher for ten years and as a Curriculum Support Teacher for the past 8 years all within the Fulton County School System. I have high expectations for all students and my life’s passion is education.  I am fortunate to have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children by working with the wonderful and dedicated teachers at Love T. Nolan.  I support teachers by providing professional learning on implementing best practices in the classroom.   I received a BS degree from the College of Charleston,  an MEd from Breneau University and Leadership Certification from the University of Georgia.  I enjoy spending time with my daughter and I am also a passionate biker, marathon runner and swimmer.
