Choose 3 places in North America where your classmates have lived.
Using the web site www.infoplease.com or www.50states.com, find the capital,
governor, and population of each of these places, and mark them on your
sheet.
Using the web site www.indo.com/distance, find the distance between Atlanta
and another city one of you has lived in the North America.
Part 2: Drawing Assignment
Open the program Mapmaker’s Toolkit. Select the United States map.
Identify with symbols where at least four of your classmates have lived.
Build the legend to show these.
Mark the capitals of these places.
Mark the city of Atlanta and the other city you chose earlier, draw a
line between them and mark the distance.
