Why am I not listed first on my child's contact list?

o The first contact is always the child's parent or legal guardian. The contact list is provided in case the parents/guardians cannot be reached.

How do I sign up for ParentConnect or sign onto ParentConnect?

o Click on the ParentConnectxp picture at the top of this page or visit our What Is It? page.

When I go to the ParentConnect website, I get a "Page cannot be displayed" Why?

o The county firewall prevents some users from accessing our ParentConnect webpage. The problem seems to occur when the toolbar "Mywebsearch" from Smiley Central has been installed. Uninstalling this toolbar should alleviate the problem.

Can I sign up for ParentConnect for both Milton and Northwestern together?

o No, the schools all run their own ParentConnect server with their own usernames and passwords.

I signed up for ParentConnect at the elementary school - will that carry over to Northwestern?

o No, the schools all run their own ParentConnect server with their own usernames and passwords.

Where do I get my Username and Password?

o Three (3) school days after you have registered, you may pick up your ParentConnect Username and Password in the Front Office. You must present your driver's license or a picture id.

My husband registered for ParentConnect? Can I pick it up for him?

o Yes, as long as your driver's license shows the same address as your spouse.

Can you send my information with my child or Fax it to me or send it by mail?

o Fulton County policy requires you to present a photo ID in person in order to maintain confidentiality of your student’s records.

I can’t find my child’s grades, and his/her teacher says they entered them all in yesterday. Is something wrong with the server?

o This can be a little confusing: There are no grades under the Grades Pencil because this will only contain grades at the end of each reporting period.

o Click on the Assignments Pencil. Choices there include assignments due “Today & Tomorrow”, "This Week", or “This School Year”. The default on this is Today and Tomorrow, so often, nothing or very little will appear.
Tip: Click on Schedule on the purple bar for your student's schedule. You will see your student's current averages. Click on that average and you will see the assignments that contributed to that average.

I tried to login, but now I’m locked out. What do I do?

o Wait at least 30 minutes then try logging on again.

I emailed my child's teacher, but the email was not received.

o In order for the email to go through, there must be a return email address. This occurs automatically if you entered an email address when you registered. If you did not, you must manually enter the email address in the message window.
