| Our
noncompetitive physical education program
stresses the interrelationship of physical,
emotional, and intellectual well-being.
Activities include opportunities for students to
learn and practice proper nutrition anti hygiene,
and to develop personal skills in individual and
team sports. A sequential course of study in
health education is offered at all three grade
levels. All students have a minimum of 60 hours
of physical education and 30 hours of health
annually. Most students have a daily class of
physical education/health. An optional
after-school intramural prograrn is conducted four
days a week supervised by qualified teachers. A
late bus provides transportation service into the
general neighborhoods of the participants
provided a minimum ridership is maintained. |
