New Student Registration during the School Year

 Students new to Fulton County and/or the Oakley Township Community may register at:

New student registration is ongoing daily between the hours of 8:00-12:00 p.m. All registration paperwork must be completed no later than 10:00a.m. in order for students to start the same day. Below are the items mandatory for registration:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Social Security Number
    (copy, if available)

  • Immunizations Up-to-Date
    (on GA Form 3231)

  • Ear, Eye and Dental
    (on GA Form 3300)

  • Proof of Residency
    (two copies-mortgage/leasing agreement plus a utility bill)

The Fulton County School System announces its spring kindergarten pre-registration dates for the 2012-13 school year– Wednesday, May 2, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday, May 3, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. A notarized affidavit of residence is also mandatory for all students. The following documents are required upon registration:

 

ü  Birth Certificate

 

ü  Social Security Card

 

ü  Immunizations (GA-Form 3231)

 

ü  Ear, Eye, and Dental (GA-Form 3300)

 

ü  Proof of Residency (2 forms) (mortgage statement, or lease agreement) AND a copy of one utility bill (with your name and current address on it)

School Hours

Oakley Elementary School's NEW hours are 7:40 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.  Staff is on duty to  help with the unloading of cars and buses beginning at 7:15 a.m. Students are to be dropped off at the front of the school, not the bus zone.

Parents:  Students must be picked up by 2:40 p.m. daily. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up by the appropriate time. Dismissal begins promptly at 2:20 p.m.

SLOW DOWN - Please, please for the safety of our children DO NOT SPEED on school property, especially in the car loop lane.  Observe the speed limit and remember slower is better.


Beginning July 1, 2009, changes in Georgia law now require the following for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students as well as rising sixth graders: immunization against measles, mumps, polio, rubella, whooping cough, tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis B, haemophilus influenza, and varicella.
