Hands On Atlanta Discovery Tutoring
Program
Overview of the Discovery Program
The Hands On Atlanta Discovery Program is a
Saturday morning tutoring program. Volunteers work with Pre-K
through 5th grade students from 10:00 AM - noon on reading, writing,
and math. We also mix in fun things like art projects, science
experiments, technology days and field trips. Each grade is led by
volunteer grade captains who plan the activities for the day.
No long term commitment or training is
required to volunteer in the Discovery Program. You can come as
often as your schedule allows. It's also a fun and rewarding
activity for a group (coworkers, alumni association, professional or
religious organization, etc.). For more information, call
Richard Goldsmith at 404-874-7055.
