Statement of Philosophy:
A student is a special gift entrusted to us to teach, inspire, and guide
as his or her educational journey begins. We, at A. Philip Randolph,
accept our responsibility to provide a comprehensive learning
environment which provides the best opportunities for development of the
total child. The faculty pledges to teach the basic skills of
communication, reading, mathematics, science, social studies, health and
physical education. We also will provide activities that will promote
personal and social development.
Along with parents, it is our duty to promote democracy by teaching
students to exercise their rights as young citizens, to respect the
rights of others, and to tolerate the lifestyles and values of each
person.
