The Family Services Coordinator offers services/information
to all Pre-Kindergarten and their parents.

Child Development - Enhance parental knowledge of the child's development
and involvement with his/her educational experience through a variety of
informational seminars, volunteer opportunities at the school, parent
conferences, etc.
·
Community Resources - Provides parents, upon request, with information that
will increase his/her knowledge of community resources such as GED
information, TANF (Temporary Assistant to Needy Families) information, or
help in obtaining extended day services, etc.
·
Kindergarten Readiness Initiative - Assist parents in obtaining all  necessary
documentation and health related requirements for kindergarten registration
before the end of the PreKindergarten school year.

To register your child in PreKindergarten program at Harriet Tubman for
the 2000-2001 school year you must have the following information
-an original birth certificate
-immunization record (3231)
-eye, ear, dental certificate
-social security card
-proof of residence (lease, current utility bill, etc.)
-legal guardship papers, if applicable
