Tubman believes in preparing students for the ever-changing 21st century, so technology has become a crucial component of daily instruction. Enrichment is provided in the classroom through the following innovations: computers in each classroom with internet/e-mail access, an on-site technology specialist, development of an in-school integrated technology model, a parent/staff presentation workstation. Other tools which strengthen the technology program at Tubman include Alexandria ( a complete, electronic media center), a portable teacher workstation Panasonic 26 inch Digital Monitor, color printers most classrooms, all classrooms with accessible laser printers, Quick Take Cameras, and Scanners. |
