Character Links - Home Link

Wilson Creek Elementary School believes that character development is an important element in educating our youth.  Good character serves as a cornerstone that will help children build confidence to face the future in a positive way.  It is the mission of the Fulton County Board of Education to educate students to be responsible, productive citizens.

With this in mind, we are pleased to continue with the Character Links Program on a school-wide basis.  This skill-based program ties academic standard to character-building activities thus reinforcing the academic benchmarks identified in the Georgia Performance Standards.

Through this program, your child will learn about such basic character traits as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, positive attitude, caring, honesty, citizenship, good choices, fairness and excellence while addressing higher order thinking skills, problem solving and grade level skills.

As parents you are your child's most important teacher.  It is our hope that you will support this program in your home.  We are making the Character Links - Home Link available below in addition to the paper copy sent home.  We look forward to a great character-building experience.
