A warm-up suit or
sweats may be worn as part of the physical education uniform on cold
days. The physical education uniform should be worn underneath
so as students warm up during activity they can remove their sweats.
The locker rooms are crowded and
accidents could occur if students do not behave responsibly.
Running, shoving, pushing, screaming, throwing, or horseplay is
inappropriate.
Students should not share their
lockers or combinations with anyone. If a students loses their
lock they are responsible for purchasing a new one from one of the
physical education teachers.
Anytime there is an injury in the
gym, athletic fields, or locker room students should report it to a
physical education teacher immediately.
Students should not use the
equipment unless instructed to do so. Equipment can only be
used while a teacher is supervising.
Jewelry brought to physical
education is the responsibility of the student. Jewelry should
not be worn during physical education. We recommend that you
bring a small box to go inside your locker for jewelry.
Students should report to roll
call immediately after dressing out to begin warm-up activities.
This will also help keep locker rooms from being over crowded.
Physical education teachers
cannot assume responsibility for any items left in the locker room
during class. The locker rooms cannot be secured and the only
safe place for personal items is locked securely in your locker.
