Course Highlights
Physical Science will take us into the world of the non-living — features or materials within our natural universe. We will explore the basic concepts of chemistry and physics, which will help us better understand the make-up and properties of all matter, chemical reactions, motion, forces and energy, sound & light waves, magnetism and electricity. The topics are varied yet they are all related to what makes things work in the non-living world around us.
There are many opportunities for hands-on learning in a lab-type setting. The instruction is standards based and will include essential questions each day for the topics learned.
