A Healthy Voice:

-Always warm-up before singing

-Dry air is hard on the vocal cords, stay clear of direct air flow from heating and air conditioning as much as possible when singing

-When your voice becomes hoarse or airy sounding, rest it with silence (that means nor singing or talking!)

-Avoid singing pitches that are way too high or too low and uncomfortable for your voice

-Drink lots of water every day, avoid caffeine

-Rest your voice just as much as you sing and talk

-Get plenty of rest before a performance
