Welcome to Second Grade!
Second Grade is an exciting year for students. We become better readers and strengthen our comprehension skills. We use writing to inform, entertain, and persuade our audience.
This year, we will learn all about Georgia during Social Studies. Science will consist of Matter, Energy, Life Cycles, and Stars.
We will become better at adding and subtracting bigger numbers, begin to explore multiplication and division, understand measuring length, telling time, counting money, identifying fractions, and geometry.
