I started off my career as an accountant for the largest law firm in the United States. In 1997 I got married and decided to stay at home and raise a family. I have three boys, Brandon 11, Justin 9, and Harrison 6. As my children started to become more independent, I decided to pursue my first love education and earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Adelphi University. Juggling a home and going to school full-time was not easy, but boy was it worth it! I taught second grade in a New York City public school. Teaching is what I now love to do!
In July of 2004 my family and I moved to Alpharetta. It wasn't easy leaving New York after living there for 17 years, but the move to Georgia has been great. I was so fortunate to be introduced to Mr. Trussell and find a position here at Creek View. Though I moved to Cumming about three years ago, I continue to love coming to work here at Creek View. This will be my sixth year here at CVES and lucky once again to be under another great Principal Matt Rogers, an incredible leader. I can sincerely say that Georgia and Creek View are my home. My husband Eric and I agree that moving here was one of the best decisions we have ever made.
For the 2004-2005 school year, I was involved with EIP (Early Intervention Program) here at Creek View. I am thrilled to be with Kindergarten for a fifth year and excited to be a part of this fabulous teaching team. These are precious times for you and your children, ENJOY IT!
