Text Box: Practice, Practice, Practice!!! Remember, practice is the key to success in band. 4th grade students should plan on spending 15 minutes of practice time a day on your instrument 5 days a week. 5th grade students should plan on spending 20 minutes of practice time a day on your instrument 5 days a week. It is also a good thing to get private instruction on your instrument. Private instructors work with you one on one, usually at a local music store, to teach you how to play your instrument better.
