Our Class
2008 - 2009

The 2008-09 school year was filled with many successes in 2nd grade!  We have become independent learners, ready for 3rd grade!  Our students worked hard and did their best on the CRCT!  Check your mailboxes in June for your child’s results.  Ms. Young and I will always remember how much growth our children made, and all the fun we had!  It was so exciting to end the year with a classroom performance of Johnny Appleseed.  Many of our teacher friends and the students from Ms. Hemmann’s reading group were impressed with how well the students acted!  The children learned all about the important pieces of a play (from sets and costumes to memorizing out lines — WOW!).  Please don’t forget to read with your child over the summer.  If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at richardsk@fultonschools.org (as I will not have access to voicemail over the summer).  Happy Summer Vacation!  See you in August!!!
