Dolores Shamis’ Toddler Room

Welcome

The toddler room follows state guidelines for capacity of 8 children.

Children enter the toddler room when taking steps between objects and no longer looking for support.

Our children are developing expression and language skills, imitating, socializing, and maturing.

They are nurtured—they receive lots of hugs and kisses.

They enjoy repeated experiences and have a regular daily routine which enhances and reinforces learning.

They see, hear, touch, smell and taste new things.

Our room is safe and encourages fine and gross motor skills.

We celebrate cultural differences.

Our discipline techniques teach self-control and respect for others.
