Five little monkeys jumping on the bed.  One fell off and bumped his head.  Momma called the doctor and the doctor said, “no more monkeys jumping on the bed.”  Four little monkeys jumping on the bed.  One fell off and bumped her head.  Momma called the doctor and the doctor said, “no more monkeys jumping on the bed.”   Three little monkeys jumping on the bed.  One fell off and bumped his head.  Momma called the doctor and the doctor said, “no more monkeys jumping on the bed.”

Nursery Rhymes

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker’s man.  Bake me a cake as fast as you can.  Roll it, pat it, and mark it with a (first letter of child’s name), and put it in the oven for (child’s name) and me.

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.  Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after.

Mary Had a Little Lamb

Mary had a little lamb, it’s fleece was white as snow; and everywhere that Mary went the lamb was sure to go.  It followed her to school one day, which was against the rule; it made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school.

Old Mother Hubbard

Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to get her poor dog a bone.  But when she got there, the cupboard was bare, and so the poor dog had none.

She went to the tailor’s to buy him a coat; but when she came back he was riding a goat.

She went to the barber’s to buy him a wig; but when she came back he was dancing a jig.

She went to the cobbler’s to buy him some shoes; but when she came back he was reading the news.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider climbed up the water spout.  Down came the rain and washed the spider out.  Out came the sun and dried up all the rain and the Itsy Bitsy Spider climbed up the spout again.
