Monday, August 24 - Latin Root Monday!  This week's root is bellare, bellum which means "to wage war; war."  Words with this root include rebellious, bellicose, antebellum.  See if you can find one more to share tomorrow...we identified the parts of speech for this week's grammar sentence and then finished our discussion of Academic Integrity.  We discussed the reading "The Stowaway."  For homework, read the myth of Cupid and Psyche.  Click here for a copy.
