¡ Go to Turnitin.com and login at the top of the page.
¡ You will be taken to student homepage. The homepage shows your enrolled classes.
¡ Click on the class name (Period 1) to open your portfolio for the class. From your portfolio, you can submit a paper.
¡ The next screen will show you the assignments…click on the one called “Character Analysis.” A popup window will appear with the instructions for the assignment.
¡ To submit a paper, click on the paper shaped submit icon to the right of the assignment. To view the start and due dates and times for an assignment, click on the assignment name.
¡ To submit a paper, locate the paper you want to submit on your computer by clicking the "browse" button and enter a title for the paper. Make sure you have entered a name for your paper…it should include your name (i.e., Character Analysis Joe Schmoe). Then click the submit button to upload the paper.
¡ It will display your text and ask you if this is the correct paper. If it is, click on “yes, submit.” (If not, follow the prompts to reload the correct essay.)
¡ That’s it!
If you do not turn your essay in this way, you will lose ten points - a letter grade - from your assignment. You have until the end of the day (midnight) on Feb 17.
