Birthday Book Club

In celebration of your child's special day, you have the opportunity to donate a book in your child's name to the Wilson Creek Birthday Book Club.

A book club donation of $15.00 makes the day even more special and helps our library collection continue to grow. A bookplate with your child's name will be placed in the front of the book, and your child will be the very first student to borrow the book from the media center.

Wilson Creek Book Clubs

Caldecott Club - Kindergarten & 1st Grade

To be part of the Caldecott Club, your child reads (or is read to) 20 gold or silver Caldecott books. After reading the 20 books, a parent or guardian signs the Caldecott Club form, and it is returned to the media center. If you need another copy of the Caldecott Club form, simply click here.

Each time your child returns a Caldecott Club form showing he or she had read 20 additional Caldecott books, we'll add a star with his or her name to our Caldecott Club display (red for kindergarten, orange for 1st grade). Our goal is to completely cover the wall with stars by the end of the school year!

For a complete list of Caldecott gold and silver medal books, click here.

Biography Book Club - 2nd & 3rd Grades
To be part of the Biography Book Club, read 10 biographies (true stories of famous people's lives) and turn in the Biography Book Club reading log, signed by a parent or guardian. All 2nd and 3rd graders received a Biography Book Club reading log in VIP papers on Thursday, September 17. If you need another copy of the reading log, click here.

Newbery Medal Book Club - 4th & 5th Grades
To be part of the Newbery Medal Book Club, read 5 Newbery Medal books (gold or silver) and turn in the Newbery Medal reading log, signed by a parent or guardian. If you need another copy of the reading log, click here.
