Determined by Placement testing, teacher recommendations, work and study habits

Students are taught at their reading ability in small group.

 

What do students do when I teach small groups?

Seatwork: Lab pages or an activity to practice a previously taught skill.

Centers: Centers allow students to work cooperatively, make choices, review skills,  and work at their own pace/ability in a fun hands-on setting.

Examples of center: Writing, Reading, Skill related games, Listening, Phonics, Computer, Reading Around the Room, Social Studies/Science, Art
