| Pumpkin Math Day: With the help of parent volunteers, the students carved pumpkins which they weighed and counted seems & seeds. They also used candy corn to practice measuring and graphed Dem Bones Candy. Thank you to all the parent volunteers! |

Apple Extravaganza: We used our senses while tasting apple products, graphed our favorite type of apples, and painted the seasons of an apple tree. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped out in the class or sent in supplies! |
| Georgia Aquarium: The Deepo Detectives program took students through an underwater mystery. Students helped Deepo, the Georgia Aquarium’s mascot, crack the case of the “Mystery Shark” the Aquarium is researching. The students went through the process of scientific investigation and problem-solving skills to help them solve the mystery. |

Thanksgiving Presentation: As a culminating activity to our unit, It Happened in America, we presented a timeline for our friends and family. We also sang a few silly turkey songs and shared our "We Are Thankful" Slide Show. |
| Static Electricity: During our weather unit, we learned about lightning. We used balloons to experiment with static. The balloons made our hair stand up and even stuck to the wall. |

Plants: With the help of Miss Thomas, our peer facilitator from Alpharetta High School, we planted beans and watched them grow! |
