Welcome Back!

Welcome to the Learning Lair!  I’m excited to have you in the room for your first year in the Dolvin Academy.  It is important that we create a sense of community in our classroom.  We all need to work together, teacher, parents, and students, to see that everyone succeeds and works to their best potential.

Throughout the 2008-2009 school year, I will expect students to try and put forth their best effort in all their work.  I plan to hold students accountable for their choices.  As students, you all need to become responsible for the choices you make, whether it is doing your homework or talking in the hallway.  My goal is to create students that are self-reliant, such as filling in their agenda, turning in work, and studying ahead of time.

I truly believe that all students can succeed if they put forth the effort.  Parents, lets work as a team to  facilitate their growth and see them grow as young adults throughout the 4th grade.  I look forward to getting to know all of you as the year progresses
